I live in an apartment! Can I still be a prepper?

While you might have a hard time making your way out of the city, you can still prepare as much as possible even if you live in a small space. Many preppers live in the city, whether it be for work or medical reasons. The key is not to let your home's location or size serve as an excuse for not being prepared.

Before you start prepping, make sure that you understand what types of disasters are most likely to occur in your area. If you live in a flood zone, for example, you'll want to make sure that you store your items in plastic containers. If you live in an area where there are tornadoes, you need to make sure that you keep snacks or water in your inner bathrooms or closets where you might hide during a storm.

The key to prepping in an apartment is to stay as organized as possible and to take advantage of your space. You won't be able to have a huge, full pantry, but you can store food under your bed. You might not be able to have a year's worth of food in your building, but you could have a week's supply in your closet.
